Description
Our client, a leading company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Attendant to join their dynamic team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to meet targets and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell products to customers in assigned outlets or designated sales areas
- Maintain excellent product knowledge to effectively explain product features and benefits to customers
- Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are well-stocked and properly arranged
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Report customer feedback, competitor activities, and sales trends to the supervisor
- Meet daily and monthly sales targets and objectives
- Assist in stock-taking and inventory control
- Support in general store operations and customer service duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certificate, Diploma, or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in FMCG
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Knowledge of sales and inventory management processes
- Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
