Team Leaders – Eastern Region

Bytech Credit Limited is a fast-growing financial institution providing accessible and innovative credit solutions across Kenya. We are looking for driven and experienced Team Leaders to oversee branch operations and lead high-performing teams within the Eastern Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of Loan Officers to meet individual and branch performance targets.
• Coordinate marketing and client mobilization activities within the assigned branch.
• Oversee the loan application, appraisal, disbursement, and recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s credit policies and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan portfolio quality and take corrective actions to manage risk.
• Train, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Handle client escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate branch reports to the Regional Manager.
• Promote a positive team culture and uphold the company’s mission and values.

Key Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months proven experience in a similar role, preferably in microfinance or digital lending.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with the local market dynamics within the Eastern Region is an added advantage.
