Van Salesman/Driver

An EABL Distributor based in Nyeri and Nanyuki is urgently seeking to recruit a Van Salesman/Driver to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in FMCG sales, excellent driving skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver EABL products to clients in assigned territories while ensuring route coverage and timely delivery.
• Achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Manage client relationships by offering exceptional service and maintaining regular communication.
• Utilize digital sales systems and mobile technology to process orders and report sales data.
• Ensure proper vehicle handling, cleanliness, fueling, and reporting of any mechanical issues.
• Conduct routine market visits to identify new sales opportunities and expand customer base.
• Accurately maintain records of sales, inventory, and route activities.
• Collect payments and issue receipts in line with company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a Business-related course.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the FMCG industry.
• Must be computer literate with hands-on experience using digitalized sales systems.
• At least 5 years of driving experience with a valid Driving License (Class C1, C, CE / BCE).
• Proven experience in driving a lorry for at least 5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong target achievement drive.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and retain customer relationships.
• Minimum age: 33 years.
• Willingness to relocate across regions as required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team under minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity and professionalism is a must.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
