Imports & Exports Logistics Officer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced logistics professional with proven expertise in handling both import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customs procedures, international trade regulations, and shipping documentation to facilitate smooth and compliant cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end import and export logistics operations.

• Prepare, review, and process all necessary shipping and trade documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

• Ensure compliance with customs procedures, shipping regulations, and international trade laws.

• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.

• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any logistical issues or delays.

• Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions.

• Stay updated on changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and shipping requirements.

• Utilize logistics software and MS Office tools to track shipments and generate reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience handling both imports and exports.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipping regulations, and international trade documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, shipping documentation processes, and MS Office applications.
