Inventory Control Associate

The Inventory Control Associate is the primary guardian of Lintons’ physical and digital assets. This role ensures 100% data integrity in the ERP system while actively auditing store-level compliance to prevent loss, manage product lifecycles, and ensure the retail environment reflects our premium brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Auditing & Compliance

• Conduct weekly store visits to audit inventory ‘Wellness’ and SOP adherence.

• Document non-conformity issues and issue corrective action reports.

• Physically verify that ‘knocked off’ items for Testers or Spa/Salon use are correctly converted in ODOO and marked ‘Not for resale’.

• Audit customer returns; ensure defective products are quarantined and processed correctly.

System & Data Integrity

• Maintain real-time accuracy of all virtual and physical warehouses within SAGE ERP.

• Perform ‘root cause analysis’ for stock variances and execute corrective system entries.

• Coordinate and lead monthly/quarterly physical stock counts; reconcile physical data against ERP reports.

Product Lifecycle Management

• Enforce FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols across all beauty and skincare brands.

• Flag products reaching a 6-month expiry window to Marketing/Buying to avoid write-offs.

• Oversee GWP (Gift With Purchase) movement and campaign-specific stock integrity.

Receiving & Dispatch

• Verify incoming deliveries for quantity accuracy and product damage.

• Document, file, and follow up on short-landings or defective products with the buying team.

• Process Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) to ensure stock is ‘Live for Sale’ immediately.

• Carry out a spot check of the received consignment after distribution together with the warehouse team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in ODOO (required).

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling).

Experience

• 2+ years in retail inventory control (Beauty, Pharma, or FMCG industry preferred).

Core Competencies

• High integrity and an “obsessive” attention to detail.

• Ability to enforce policy diplomatically during store audits.

• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
