Operations Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Officer with a background in operations and procurement, preferably within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, managing procurement processes, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting the smooth functioning of supply chain and logistics systems

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow across departments
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for medical and pharmaceutical products
• Oversee procurement processes including purchasing, inventory control, and vendor management
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and healthcare quality standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast supply needs and maintain optimal inventory levels
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, delivery schedules, and supplier databases
• Monitor and analyze operational performance to identify improvement areas
• Support logistics, delivery coordination, and warehouse operations
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and reporting

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 4 years of proven experience in operations and procurement, preferably in a medical, pharmacy, or healthcare-related environment
• Strong understanding of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare procurement standards
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement or inventory management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
