Procurement Officer

Surelift Solutions Limited, on behalf of our client in the retail industry, is seeking a passionate, mature, and results-driven Procurement Officer to join a fast-paced retail environment. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in sourcing, negotiation, and inventory management, and who is ready to contribute to operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure products, materials, and supplies in line with business requirements and approved budgets.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, quotations, and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate closely with the store, operations, and finance teams to ensure optimal stock availability and accurate inventory levels.

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to inform purchasing decisions.

• Support inventory control processes and assist in managing large SKU databases.

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or retail operations.

• Experience in hardware retail is an added advantage but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience managing large SKU inventories in a retail or similar environment.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in record-keeping and familiarity with procurement software/tools is desirable.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting and meet tight deadlines.

• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
