Stock Controller

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Stock Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring smooth operations within the supply chain. This role requires keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage stock levels of all hotel supplies, including food, beverages, housekeeping items, and maintenance inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity match purchase orders.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory transactions.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and report variances.
• Work closely with procurement and departmental heads to forecast stock requirements.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposal or reallocation.
• Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to minimize losses and waste.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of stock items according to safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a stock control, storekeeping, or inventory management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with inventory software and MS Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
