Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Executive to manage and oversee the maintenance operations of our luxury beachfront resort. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining high-end hospitality facilities, with a proven ability to lead a team and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The Maintenance Executive will be responsible for all aspects of property maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems, ensuring that the resort operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring all facilities and equipment are functioning at optimal levels.
• Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance the longevity of resort assets.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues, prioritizing and addressing them in a timely manner to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimal disruption to guest experiences.
• Manage maintenance budgets, sourcing high-quality materials and services while optimizing costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain the resort’s reputation for excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce maintenance-related costs.
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Nationality: Open to Kenyan nationals.
• Experience: Must have experience in managing maintenance operations within a luxury hotel or resort environment. Candidates with a background in general or non-hospitality maintenance need not apply.
• Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
