Technical & Maintenance Representative

Odex Chemicals Limited, a leading manufacturer of industrial detergents, sanitizers, and water treatment solutions, is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical & Maintenance Representative to provide technical support, installation, and maintenance services for laundry and kitchen dosing systems at client sites. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal equipment performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Install and commission laundry dosing system units.
• Program dosing units and extractor machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty laundry systems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and servicing of laundry machines.
• Train clients on the correct operation and care of machines.
• Handle plumbing-related tasks associated with laundry systems.
• Collect and analyze laundry machine reports.
• Coordinate the recall and retrieval of machines from customer sites when required.
• Install dishwashers and glass washer machines.
• Install and program dosing pumps for kitchen systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty kitchen equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns at customer sites.
• Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of kitchen machines.

Requirements
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or technical support — preferably within the laundry, kitchen equipment, or hygiene solutions industry.
• Strong knowledge of dosing systems, electrical controls, and mechanical components.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
