Marketing & Communications Officer

Salsabil Heights Ladies Hostel is seeking a creative, trustworthy and people-focused Marketing & Communications Officer to increase awareness of the hostel, generate inquiries and build positive relationships with prospective residents, parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities

• Market the hostel through social media, WhatsApp and other relevant marketing channels.
• Generate, receive and follow up on prospective resident inquiries.
• Visit schools, colleges and other relevant locations to engage with students and promote the hostel.
• Engage professionally with students, parents and guardians.
• Create engaging and informative marketing content.
• Support referrals, partnerships and other occupancy initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on pricing, availability and hostel facilities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and current residents.
• Respond promptly and professionally to calls, messages and inquiries.
• Maintain the hostel's professional brand image and ethical marketing standards.
• Respect resident privacy, confidentiality and consent when handling marketing content.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, customer service or hospitality is an added advantage.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with social media marketing and digital platforms.
• Ability to create engaging content; Canva or basic graphic design skills are an added advantage.
• Good computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow up on leads and meet targets.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile.
