Relationship Officers

Springboard Capital Limited is seeking dynamic and results-driven Relationship Officers to grow and maintain a healthy loan portfolio. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in building strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving credit-related activities across our Nairobi branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of Springboard Capital’s products and services to grow and maintain a robust loan portfolio.
• Build long-term client relationships through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face interactions, cold calling, emails, and networking.
• Monitor, analyze, and review customer retention data, using insights to improve client targeting and conversion rates.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding loan applications and credit transactions.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback on loan applications to enhance service quality.
• Conduct business and home visits to validate loan applications.
• Ensure timely renewal of valuations upon contract expiry.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to support decision-making processes.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course from a recognized institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in a credit-related role within the financial industry.
• Professional banking qualification (added advantage).
• Proficiency in ICT with strong skills in MS Office and internet applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
