Our Client, Omnicore Technologies, Suluhu, and Beba are seeking a visionary and execution-driven General Manager (GM) to lead and scale a portfolio of innovative, technology-driven companies: Omnicore Technologies (B2B SaaS), Suluhu (on-demand services), and Beba (transport and logistics tech). This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing high-growth startups or tech-enabled businesses. The GM will be responsible for aligning business strategy, driving operational excellence, and delivering profitable growth across all three companies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Multi-Business Oversight

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership across all business units.
  • Set and drive key company goals, OKRs, and KPIs to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Align and integrate strategic plans across Omnicore Technologies, Suluhu, and Beba.
  • Represent the businesses in external forums, with partners, and to stakeholders.

Operations & Process Optimization

  • Lead daily operations with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
  • Build and optimize systems for two-sided marketplaces, SaaS platforms, and logistics workflows.
  • Standardize internal processes and improve execution speed across business functions.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify new market opportunities and build partnerships with clients, vendors, and collaborators.
  • Oversee B2B sales strategies, customer acquisition, and retention plans.
  • Guide product-market fit evolution and explore growth hacking strategies.

Financial Management & P&L Oversight

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for each business.
  • Drive cost optimization and ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor and improve unit economics, ROI on campaigns, and operational margins.

Technology Leadership

  • Collaborate with tech leads to ensure platforms and apps are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Make informed decisions on tech investments, vendor selection, and digital tools.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and ensure innovation in product offerings.

Team Leadership & Culture Building

  • Manage cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, tech, support, and operations.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, accountability, and growth.
  • Lead recruitment, performance management, and professional development initiatives.

Crisis Management & Problem Solving

  • Proactively address operational bottlenecks and high-impact issues.
  • Streamline workflows and introduce performance dashboards for visibility and accountability.
  • Anticipate risks and develop contingency and mitigation strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a senior operations, GM, or COO role within a tech-enabled business or startup.
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS, transport/logistics, or two-sided marketplaces.
  • Experience scaling startups, driving revenue, and managing across multiple business lines.
  • Hands-on understanding of product-led growth, digital platforms, and operational frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and team leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business judgment and execution capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or Technology; MBA or similar qualification is a plus.

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Former Head of Ops/GM at Glovo, Jumia, Sendy, Uber, or Bolt.
  • Ex-Consultant (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Dalberg) with a track record in scaling startups.
  • Successful entrepreneur with experience managing or launching multi-vertical businesses.
