Description
Our client, a premium hospitality group, is seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of its portfolio of hotels and lodges. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, improving profitability, maintaining brand standards, and supporting executive governance across all properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple hotels and lodges to ensure service excellence and consistent brand standards.
- Develop and monitor operational plans, budgets, and key performance indicators to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, health, safety, and environmental requirements, including hospitality licensing.
- Coordinate board meetings by preparing executive reports, board packs, and operational updates.
- Work closely with General Managers and Heads of Departments to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee resource planning and operational risk management across all properties.
- Champion sustainability and environmental initiatives in line with the organization's ESG objectives.
- Prepare and present regular operational and performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Organizational Development, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in hospitality operations with responsibility across multiple departments or properties.
- Strong understanding of hospitality regulations, statutory licensing, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting or legal compliance is an added advantage.
