SITE FOREMAN

We are seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Site Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, supervising site workers and subcontractors, and ensuring optimal use of resources to achieve project deliverables on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and supervise on-site staff and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.

• Read, interpret, and implement engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction activities.

• Ensure all works are executed to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

• Enforce health and safety regulations, monitor site progress, and ensure compliance with industry and statutory standards.

• Monitor site budgets and oversee the allocation and utilization of materials, equipment, and resources.

• Lead and manage site teams, addressing and resolving issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.

• Assist in planning and implementing the work program, including conducting site briefings and safety inductions.

• Attend site management and coordination meetings as required.

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, daily site reports, and related documentation.

• Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Building Construction or Civil Engineering.

• Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.

• Proven experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures, finishing works, and general infrastructure projects.

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.

• High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under minimal supervision.
