Surveyor

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate surveying and setting-out services for building and civil works, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and design levels.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out for buildings, structural elements, roads, drainage, and related infrastructure works.

• Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys as required.

• Establish site controls, benchmarks, property boundaries, and reference points.

• Set horizontal and vertical alignments and determine reduced levels (RLs).

• Monitor earthworks quantities and formation levels.

• Check excavation, foundation, slab, and structural levels to ensure accuracy.

• Ensure all works adhere strictly to approved drawings and technical specifications.

• Prepare and update survey plans, maps, and technical survey reports.

• Ensure all surveying activities comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Verify site measurements and provide continuous surveying support to the site team.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals.

• Maintain accurate survey records and proper documentation for site projects.

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental requirements at all times.

• Properly maintain, handle, and safeguard surveying equipment and instruments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatic Engineering, or a related field.

• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in construction and site surveying.

• Proven experience in setting out for building and road works.

• Proficiency in surveying tools and software, including AutoCAD, Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS equipment.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings and specifications.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

• High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to present survey data and outputs in AutoCAD and CSV formats.
