Huma Resource Assistant
Description
Newark Frontiers is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. You will assist in day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, records management, and employee support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing contracts and orientation materials.
- Maintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formats.
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
- Coordinate training sessions and HR events as needed.
- Help manage employee benefits, leave tracking, and disciplinary processes.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department and respond to employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support performance appraisal processes and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems is an added advantage.
