Newark Frontiers is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. You will assist in day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, records management, and employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing contracts and orientation materials.
  • Maintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formats.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
  • Coordinate training sessions and HR events as needed.
  • Help manage employee benefits, leave tracking, and disciplinary processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems is an added advantage.
