Operations & HR Manager

Our client, a leading floriculture company, is seeking an experienced Operations & HR Manager to oversee operations, logistics, fleet, and HR functions across its Nairobi office and farm.

Location: Nairobi, with regular farm travel
Gross Salary: KSh 100,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end flower export logistics, cold-chain operations, and cargo handling at JKIA.
• Oversee HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and labour compliance.
• Coordinate company fleet, drivers, vehicle maintenance, and transport schedules.
• Liaise with KEPHIS, KRA Customs, clearing agents, airlines, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor operational efficiency, costs, compliance, and service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in floriculture, export logistics, air cargo, and/or HR management.
• Strong knowledge of flower export logistics, cold-chain operations, and export clearing procedures.
• Good understanding of Kenyan labour laws and HR practices.
• Experience in fleet and team management.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to the farm.
