Technical Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is looking to hire a skilled and hands-on Technical Operator to support the maintenance and smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor production and utility equipment, including Reverse Osmosis (RO), bottle blowers, pumps, boilers, and related machinery.
• Carry out routine machine checks, cleaning, servicing, and basic maintenance.
• Monitor machine pressure and performance and report faults promptly.
• Respond immediately to machine breakdowns and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Change RO filters, machine gaskets, and bottle-blower molds as required.
• Regularly clean and maintain water tanks and equipment.
• Assist the Maintenance team with repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication work where required.
• Ensure machines are started and operated according to production schedules.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, equipment care, and housekeeping.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager or management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Diploma/Technician II qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a busy manufacturing, food-processing, or industrial environment.
• Experience in a beverage processing, bottling, or food manufacturing plant is highly desirable.
• Practical experience in machine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
• Welding skills will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance and industrial equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity, discipline, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
