Assistant Dispatch / Logistics Manager

We are a dynamic and growing organization seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Dispatch / Logistics Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to oversee our stores and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely service delivery.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations, managing inventory control, coordinating with key internal departments, and overseeing the company fleet and drivers. This role requires a hands-on approach to storekeeping, stock management, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise overall warehouse operations and stores staff.

• Manage stock-taking of finished goods and maintain accurate stock cards.

• Liaise with Procurement, Quality Control, and Production departments on inventory, product quality, and returns.

• Oversee the receipt of finished goods from production and update the finished goods database.

• Monitor company vehicle usage and supervise drivers.

• Coordinate and supervise end-month stock-taking exercises.

• Perform any other duties as delegated by the Dispatch / Logistics Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office (especially Excel).

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and report-writing skills.

  • Knowledge of stock control best practices and fleet management.
