Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for handling daily fulfillment center operations, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing and dispatching items. The role ensures customer orders are processed accurately, safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Sorting

• Unload incoming shipments and inspect goods for damage.
• Verify quantities against delivery notes.
• Sort inventory into the correct storage bins or shelves.

Picking & Packing

• Locate and pick products accurately according to digital pick lists.
• Package items securely according to company standards.
• Label parcels correctly for shipping.

Dispatch & Shipping

• Organize packed orders according to carrier routes.
• Load delivery vehicles.
• Assist with inventory handovers to courier partners.

Inventory Control

• Conduct regular stock counts.
• Report damaged, missing or misplaced items.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels in the system.

Safety & Maintenance

• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow warehouse safety and quality guidelines.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of goods.

Key Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Physically fit and flexible.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Good communication skills.
• Minimum of a High School Certificate (KCSE).
